Walker Riverside is one of the main City Council regeneration areas along with Byker Ouseburn and the West End . It lies to the east of Ouseburn beyond St Peters Basin and stretches along the river Tyne to the North Tyneside boundary. A ONE sponsored initiative, River Tyne North Bank, covering the industrial part of Walker Riverside and a large area of North Tyneside riverside including Wallsend town centre, is currently in its early stages.

Walker Riverside Area Action Plan
