There is a huge amount to do in the Ouseburn, with something a bit different for all ages. Much of its charm stems from its beautiful location; near enough to walk to from Newcastle’s Quayside but set within a steep leafy valley, the area has stunning natural views and beautifully refurbished industrial architecture.

However, it’s not just interesting views - the creative industries are alive and well in the Valley with the work of artists, printmakers and sculptors available to enjoy or buy in a range of galleries and open studios events; a cinema and live music venues, along with what some would say are the best pubs in the North East. The Ouseburn is a family location with activities for young and old.  School parties can experience a wide range of independent activities including Seven Stories - the Centre for Children's Books; Stepney Bank Stables and the Heritage Education Programme.

Many of the visitor attractions are open to the general public, but some do need to be pre-booked.

So, why not explore the Ouseburn Valley for yourself?
